Abstract:
The level of education is the most important factor in the formation of human capital. The importance of education in modern Russia is evidenced by the differentiation of wages in different educational groups. In the structure of the employed over the last decade there has been an increase in the share of workers with higher education. In the current conditions, the role of additional education is becoming more and more noticeable. This article provides an assessment of existing patterns in the level of education of respondents based on microdata from comprehensive monitoring of living conditions of the population. Hypotheses were tested about the relationship between educational level and employment (or occupation), as well as the influence of place of residence (urban / rural).
