Abstract:
The article discusses the main milestones in the development of the Samara school of labor sociology. The role of V. A. Yadov and the Leningrad School of Labor Sociology in the formation of the theoretical and methodological orientation of Samara research were highlighted. The leading role of B. G. Tukumtsev, who was the head of the Samara Sociological Laboratory and the Research Institute of Social Technologies of Samara University in the formation of the Samara School of labor Sociology, was emphasized. The specifics of the interpretation of the subject of labor sociology have been considered, as well as the main theoretical concepts developed and tested within the framework of long-term monitoring studies: “social and labor sphere”, “labor relations”, “social well-being”, “social tension in the organization”, “involvement in the organization”. The main directions of modern research, the existence of a succession of generations and the prospects for further development of the Samara school of labor sociology are shown.
