Biographical collection as a resource for socio-cultural research

The article offers the results of scientific work at Biographical collection of Sociological Institute of the Russian Academy of Science. The first part presents a description of the electronic database of Biographical collection and also gives a brief quantitative analysis of biographical texts. The second part sums up the study of schoolchildren’s autobiographies.
